About mizuiro.nu

The domain has been online for some time, but the site opened up offically first time in 28.08.2004. The name, mizuiro, means "the color of water" in japanese, mizu meaning water and iro meaning the color of something. I, Noirre, chose this name for several reasons - firstly and probably mostly because it sounds nice. Secondly because I like japanese as a language and I wanted a japanese domain name. Thirdly because it's short and, atleast in my opinion, easy to remember. Another reasons would be the importance of water to all human kind and so on, but they were just minor things that supported my decission, so let's forget them now.

Something else to remeber about m.NU is that the credit for the name goes to Iria-kun as well as me. We wanted to create a irc-channel of our own the other day and when we though of a name for it, we decided that it would probably be the best if we both would come up with a word and then we would comvine them to form the name. Well, I said mizu and Iria said iro. So it became mizuiro. I loved the name so much taht I asked if it bothered Iria that I would use it as a domain name and he said that it's okey -a s long as I mention the channel somewhere on the site. So here you go, saiai. Now I took care of this little detail ^__~
